What are the boxes offered by Simple Feast?
All of our meals are 100% organic and contain no preservatives or additives. At Simple Feast, we offer Weekly Boxes and Comfort Food Boxes. Weekly Boxes are three nights of entire vegetarian or vegan meals that require a few steps of preparation. Comfort Food Boxes are monthly offerings of 4 to 8 complete jarred meals that only require heating up and your favorite side dish.

How do the Weekly Boxes work?
Our Weekly Boxes are complete vegetarian or vegan meals for three nights a week. The meals are made to be eaten within the week they are delivered and should be stored in the refrigerator at a maximum 5°C. They require a few steps of preparation, such as mixing a salad with the dressing, cutting a vegetable and searing it, or heating something up. Just follow the simple steps and then you are ready to serve a delicious meal of typically a warm element, a salad, a bread, and a spread or something similar. Choose from Green Feast, vegetarian meals with cheese and egg, or Vegan Feast, meals that don’t contain any animal products. Both Weekly Boxes are available as a one-time purchase or by subscription for weekly and bi-weekly deliveries, as well as deliveries every third and fourth week.

How do the Comfort Food Boxes work?
Our Comfort Food Boxes contain 4 or 8 glasses, with 1 or 2 of each dish depending on your order. These dishes are stewed directly in the jars. Unopened jars can keep in the refrigerator at a maximum 5°C for 30 days and are great basic elements to have in your pantry. All that is required is to warm the dish in a heavy-bottomed saucepan for about 10 minutes, and serve with your favorite side dish, such as rice, potatoes, pasta, a rich salad, or whole-grain bread. We always suggest easy side dishes on our website, in our app ‘Simple Feast – Min mad’, or underneath the sleeve of the jar itself. If you don’t mind spending just a little more time cooking, you can also download our recipe app (Simple Feast Recipes), which offers recipes and inspiration for tasty sides. Comfort Food is available as a one-time purchase or as a once-a-month subscription, delivered every fourth week. Once you start a subscription, your next box will be delivered approximately 4 weeks after the last delivery. How do I know what is in the meals?

Can I choose my own meals?
Unfortunately, you cannot choose your own meals.

How do I store the meals from Simple Feast?
All our meals should be stored in the refrigerator at a maximum 5°C. The meals in the Weekly Box are made to be eaten within the week they are delivered. If unopened, the Comfort Food meals can be refrigerated for up to 30 days.

How does Simple Feast work?
We deliver directly to your door through our distribution partners. With the exception of bank holidays, deliveries are on Mondays between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. throughout Denmark, except for the islands not connected by bridges (including Bornholm), and in Stockholm, Sweden on Mondays between 6 p.m and 10 p.m. The time will depend on the delivery interval and the product you have chosen. Notice, that delays might occur.

Who delivers my box, and how can I plan for delivery?
The distribution companies Mover (in DK) and Best (in SE) is responsible for transporting the food from our kitchen facilities directly to your door. The driver will try to call you if you can’t come to the door or are not at home. The goal is to always find a delivery solution.

What if I haven’t received my box?
If you haven’t received your box within the designated delivery window, we kindly ask that you send an email to kundeservice@simplefeast.com.

How do I know when my next box is being delivered?
You can download our app ‘Simple Feast – My Food’ from the App Store or Google Play and manage your subscription as well as see your next delivery.

Can I choose which day I want my box delivered?
Unfortunately, you cannot choose your delivery day. We only deliver on Mondays, because of our agreement with our distributors. You can always postpone or skip a delivery.

What are the thoughts behind Simple Feast’s choice of packaging?
All our meals are delivered in FSC-approved cardboard boxes. Our cooling elements are frozen tap water, which can safely be drunk once defrosted. The plastic-like packaging used in our Weekly Boxes is made from PLA (polylactic acid), which is a biodegradable material made from sustainable materials, such as the residual fibers from the production of corn, sugar, and potato products. PLA must be disposed of with other residual waste since it’s the only way waste/trash facilities in Denmark can break it down. Only under very specific conditions can PLA be degraded in nature (temperature, humidity, closed environment, etc.), and it cannot be disposed of with plastic since it cannot be recycled in the same manner. However, PLA is produced without any use of fossil fuels and is still preferable over plastic production. We’re always working on improving our packaging, and should a better alternative present itself, we will not hesitate to use it instead.

Why should I sign up for a subscription?
At Simple Feast, we do not require sign up for a subscription. However, in order to plan the number of meals produced most efficiently and avoid food waste (and be even more environmentally friendly), we prefer you choose a subscription. Your subscription is never binding. You can always skip a delivery, pause your subscription, or unsubscribe on our app ‘Simple Feast – Min mad’ or send an email to kundeservice@simplefeast.com. The app is available in the App Store and Google Play. Simply log in using the e-mail address and password you signed up with.

How do I unsubscribe?
We will make every effort to accommodate changing schedules. You can always skip a delivery or pause your subscription. But, if you feel you must, you can also unsubscribe on our app ‘Simple Feast – My Food’ or send an email to kundeservice@simplefeast.com. You can unsubscribe at any time, but please be aware that unsubscribing has to happen before 3 p.m. on the Friday before your next delivery. This applies to both Weekly Box and Comfort Food.
